Yoga Alliance Certified Teacher Trainings

Led by Jeni Carbonara, E-RYT 500

  • My 200HR YTT is an immersive foundational program designed for aspiring teachers and dedicated practitioners alike. Rooted in power yoga while honoring yoga’s deeper philosophical traditions, this training blends anatomy, functional sequencing, teaching methodology, philosophy, and personal transformation into a supportive and growth-oriented experience. Students will graduate with the confidence, knowledge, and authentic voice needed to lead thoughtful, impactful classes and deepen their own practice on and off the mat.

The next 200-level training is scheduled for Fall 2027.

  • Our 300HR Advanced YTT is designed for certified yoga teachers ready to refine their craft, deepen their understanding, and expand their capacity as leaders and practitioners. This program explores advanced anatomy, philosophy, intelligent teaching methodology, trauma-informed practices, specialized class styles, and the art of holding space with clarity and integrity. Through mentorship, practicum teaching, self-study, and immersive learning, students cultivate both technical skill and the deeper wisdom required to teach from a place of experience, authenticity, and purpose.

The next 300-level training is scheduled for Fall 2026!

  • In addition to becoming Yoga Alliance certified, students leave this training with the confidence and experience to skillfully lead classes across a variety of styles and student populations. Through mentorship, practice teaching, feedback, and deep personal inquiry, trainees cultivate self-confidence, practice vulnerability, and learn how to communicate with greater authenticity, presence, and compassion — both on and off the mat. More than simply learning how to teach yoga, students develop a deeper relationship to themselves, their practice, and the supportive community that forms throughout the training experience.

  • All trainings run from September through May and are designed to support working adults through a blend of weekend intensives, weekday evening sessions, and flexible virtual participation options via Zoom. The curriculum includes in-person lectures and practices, asynchronous assignments and self-study components, anatomy and philosophy coursework, mentorship, and dozens of hours of supervised practice teaching across multiple class styles. Students can expect an immersive and highly experiential program that balances technical skill-building, personal growth, community connection, and the development of an authentic teaching voice.
